Nominator's rationale: "Editnotice article probation"? Sounds like a relic of times gone. Seems unused and not sure what it's referring to exactly, perhaps discretionary sanctions? Either way, should either be renamed and find its purpose in life, or be deleted. ProcrastinatingReader (talk) 13:18, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment This might lead to some answers. – The Grid (talk) 02:37, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, the category is empty and it seems there is no template that automatically populates the category. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:36, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: User seems to have created a category with the same name as their username and placed one populated place in it. Not the purpose of categories Eagleash (talk) 11:43, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Not what categories are for. Grutness...wha? 04:34, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. MER-C 18:12, 12 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: À la Category:NASA space stations Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 08:59, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rename, a set category that should be in plural. Marcocapelle (talk) 17:25, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rename per nom. Grutness...wha? 04:35, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • REname -- Some of the content is about modules of a future space station; others about prototypes tested. Even if there were only one so far, a plural would be appropriate. Peterkingiron (talk) 14:02, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Pluralize category since it is a set category. Alternatively, delete as a non-defining award. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:30, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thassos[edit]

The result of the discussion was: withdrawn: the AfD resulted in the article being moved to Thasos. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:25, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: The article was recently moved (without discussion) from Thasos to Thassos. I propose renaming these categories to match. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:08, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment, I wonder if an RM might be a better first step. Some references use the 's' spelling, others use 'ss'. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:07, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy close I am taking the main article to RM. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 02:51, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I suppose we can keep this open pending the outcome of the RM. If the RM is closed as keeping the 's' spelling this CfD discussion can be relisted and speedily renamed. Marcocapelle (talk) 10:14, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. The RM is here. Good Ol’factory (talk) 05:02, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The article hisotry says "Gnslps moved page Thasos to Thassos over redirect: The spelling is commonly accepted as Thassos in english not as Thasos. It is widely used with double "s" also because the pronunciation is more valid." There is an open RM, where I have voted to move the article back to Thasos, a spelling supported by transliteration of the Greek name and W. Smith, Shorter Classical Dictionary (1867), 418-9. The name is said to derive from Thasus a son of Neptune. Peterkingiron (talk) 14:20, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
