The result of the discussion was: delete. Good Ol’factory (talk) 00:25, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: See other eponymous family categories, which have been deleted: for example, discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 April 19#Hollywood families P. —C.Fred (talk) 23:13, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not really - they are all closely related. Johnbod (talk) 13:31, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak Keep There appear to be others that might get articles in the future - Freda's husband for one. Johnbod (talk) 13:35, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete iff the family is notable (e.g. sources refer to someone as being a member of the family rather than just as being related to a particular person) then this could be covered by an article (e.g. including a family tree), but it's not needed as a category. The result of the discussion was: merge. MER-C 17:26, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: This was inadvertently ommited from an earlier CFD. DexDor (talk) 17:28, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: merge. Good Ol’factory (talk) 00:24, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: unclear difference between a "collaboration" and a "work group". The "collaborations" category should remain for consistency with Category:Wikipedia collaborations by topic. —andrybak (talk) 15:14, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: There is just one article in the category, and all the others redirect to it. Armbrust The Homunculus 07:02, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. MER-C 19:47, 12 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: There is the better developed tree Category:Former populated places in England (which includes its 2 articles). Also there is no Category:Former hamlets; the only other one is Category:Former hamlets in Alberta. Oculi (talk) 02:40, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support "former hamlets" doesn't seem that defining in that hamlets aren't generally legally recognized other than being on a map so its unlikely many people would know what former hamlets weren't villages. If not deleted it should be renamed to Category:Former hamlets in England. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:50, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:19, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. D4iNa4 (talk) 19:09, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Just Delete -- This is about hamlets that have been overwhelmed by the expansion of nearby towns. This is a common phenomenon and does not need a category. "Former populated places" sounds like depopulated places, which these clearly are not, so that I would oppose any suggested merger. Peterkingiron (talk) 14:55, 8 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Is there any definition of a hamlet? How does somewhere become a former hamlet? Rathfelder (talk) 18:42, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
