Nominator's rationale: "Parenting books" can be taken to mean how-to/self-help books specifically or books about parenting more generally. I propose making Category:Books about parenting a parent category of Category:Parenting advice books. Cheers, gnu57 15:55, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: As with several similar categories in Beer by country, where all other state names are referred to in short form, not prefaced with "the state/republic of ...", Category:Beer in the State of Palestine should be referred to by its short-form name Category:Beer in Palestine - for a particularly apt parallel example in Beer by country, please note that Taiwan is not referred to as the "Republic of China" - Palestine should be treated similarly under WP:C2C guidelines — Iskandar 323 (talk) 06:18, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment @Laurel Lodged Yes, I had migrated the entries to the new page, and was going enquire what to do about the original, but I was instructed by @Liz that this was the wrong way to go about it.   • Comment - @Oculi Ok, that makes sense - hadn't realised everything was categorised like this under Category:State of Palestine. I can't help but feel the overall categorisation solution is disagreeable, but I can hardly argue with the direction in which the weight of the existing body of material leans. You are welcome to close this proposed renaming request and merge. I have also tagged the duplicate Category:Beer in Palestine page for speedy deletion (it is empty) - so whichever comes first: that or a merger — Iskandar 323 (talk) 06:25, 31 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
