Nominator's rationale: WP:SMALLCATs for just one entry each, based on release by a record label that doesn't even have a Wikipedia article about the label. This would be fine if there were five or six singles and five or six EPs to file in each of these (but the lack of an article about the label means there's no easy way for me to figure out whether there are or not), but they're not needed for just one entry. Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

Nominator's rationale: Proper plural of "person". See, e.g. WP:BLP. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:26, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: this implicates a substantial number of other categories using "people" in the same way. Is it the intent of the proposal that all such categories will be changed accordingly? BD2412 T 23:41, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Generally speaking, categories with "persons" in the title are more clearly a set category (biographies) than with "people", but here it is clearly a set category anyway. So an overall replacement of "people" by "persons" would be an improvement, but not for just this one category. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:39, 24 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - per Category:People by status, Category:People etc. 'English persons'?? Sounds very odd to me. 'Power to the persons.' Oculi (talk) 11:08, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose – WP:BLP and everyday usage freely mix people/persons. The proposal would achieve very little (and dubious) benefits at enormous cost and disruption. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 12:46, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strongly oppose I don’t see the importance of changing the name. Hypothetical situation. What is the benefit?BostonMensa (talk) 19:28, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose – lots of pain, no gain — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 23:33, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. "People" and "persons" are both valid plurals of "person", with different connotations: "people" more colloquial and more emphasizing their collective identity, "persons" more formal and bureaucratic and more emphasizing their individuality. In this case, I don't see the point in going with the less-colloquial option. It is formal enough for Wikipedia purposes and more familiar to readers. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:18, 26 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I'm just thinking of our poor bots changing a category name on over a million articles and watching them at work, weeks later as they are still changing Category:Living people to Category:Living persons. And does this mean we change all of the other hundreds of "people" categories ("People from...", "People of...") as well? It doesn't make sense go to all of this work to change one category that now is contrary to all of the other "people" categories. There better be a stronger reason than grammatical preference to make these kinds of system-wide, systemic changes. Liz Read! Talk! 22:47, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: The current name, while nicely matching other "television shows set in" category names, is grammatically awkward. ButlerBlog (talk) 18:11, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support: Users may not be navigating through the tree so the pattern won't be obvious or relevant. Fuddle (talk) 02:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
