Nominator's rationale: A relic of a very old ArbCom case. The committee does not do things this way anymore, and actually it is not clear to me if the committee even had anything to do with creating this category, (the user who created it stopped editing 13 years ago) but the topic area calmed down a long time ago and we don't usually categorize banned users by arbcom cases, and most of these accounts appear to be WP:SPA throwaway accounts so I'm not sure this was every actually useful.   • Comment - I think we still use categories for socks. But besides that, it doesn't look like these are listed at Wikipedia:Arbitration enforcement log. Is this information listed somewhere else? Looking at User:YBM, this looks like it's some sort of page ban or topic ban, if we use current verbiage. - jc37 08:25, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    We still use categories to say "this account is a sock of this other account" but that is not what this is. This identifies the blocked user as having been involved in a specific dispute 17 years ago. Almost all of these accounts were blocked at that time and have not been heard from since.
