File:DanceHall.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by SFTVLGUY2 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

The screenshot is used in the music section of Dance Hall (1950 film). The screenshot was originally placed in the text of the article that consisted of four paragraphs when the article was created in November 2006. In March 2007, [1], the screenshot was moved into the newly created infobox. Earlier this month, [2] the screenshot was replaced with the film's poster in the infobox. Three days after that, [3], the screenshot was added back into the article, this time in the music section. The music section has one sentence about the bandleaders who provided the music for the film and nothing about the screenshot itself. There is no critical commentary of the image itself in the section, it does nothing to increase the reader's understanding of the film and its exclusion is not detrimental to the understanding of the film, thereby failing WP:NFCC#8. Image not found at Flikr source; searched image in Google, unable to find original. It is therefore not a candidate to be moved to Commons, where there are other images of the same sculptures which are PD and correctly licensed. Ellin Beltz (talk) 23:52, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
