Here are the task lists used for edit-a-thons conducted as a part of this project. The task list from Malayalam Wikipedia can be found here.

Further work[edit]

  • Fix all the redirects on women's health missing articles list created from glossary of textbooks.
  • Include LGBT+ health, or create a separate portal for it.
  • Expand the list of missing articles with content from more textbooks. Cleanup of the glossary. Add corresponding Wikidata items to the list of missing articles using Wikipedia and Wikidata extension. Find which articles missing on English Wikipedia have corresponding pages in other languages.
  • Find the sizes and image counts of articles listed under 'Articles by country' and find the 'knowledge debt' of each country relative to the country with the largest (or average) byte count.
  • Reorganize the category tree for Women's health.
  • Increase the scope of WikiProject: Women's Health with more articles.
  • Knowledge debt: How many bytes do each article by country has, and what is the difference between the total number of bytes between, say, "Abortion in Sweden" and "Abortion in Yemen"?
  • Match the glossary of terms with Wikidata and find which ones are present (or not present) in Wikidata.
  • Women's health data on Wikidata in the model of Wikidata for Education (possible data: maternal mortality, female life expectancy, percentage of anaemia by country, abortion statistics, female genital mutilitation data, breast cancer information, adolesent pregnancy data, contraception statistics, HIV statistics, smoking among women statistics, vaccination against HPV statistics)
  • GLAM projects : From Internet Archive, Flickr Commons
  • Create task lists (basic, intermediate, advanced) for edit-a-thons from the knowledge gaps identified using this project.
  • Are we showing representative images on Wikipedia articles related to women's health? (Menking et. al)

  • Add images of female diseases to Wikidata entries from here.
