Somebody using IPs from Greater Montreal and Toronto, Canada, has been crediting too many musicians as writers of various songs, on the mistaken assumption that a bit of sampled music in one song means that the musicians who created the earlier music are automatically credited as writers of the later music. Other disruption includes giving a guest musician "featured" credit even if they are not billed that way. The disruption began in March 2020.[1]
