Suspected sockpuppets [edit]
Evidence submitted by Cuchullain [edit]

User:Fyodor7 was recently blocked indefinitely by Jpgordon for sockpuppetry, after CheckUser revealed he had been editing abusively under several accounts. Some evidence and description of the sockpuppeteer's abusive behavior are located at ANI here and here. Much of the recent puppeting activity has revolved around the article Ahatallah, now protected for a month. Anuapt is very clearly Fyodor trying to avoid the blocks; he made an incomprehensible edit[1] to Ahatallah that restored changes made previously by confirmed socks.[2][3][4] 175.40.158.55 (talk · contribs), and 175.40.209.16 (talk · contribs) are clearly Fyodor7 trying to get around his blocks to continue the same bent at the talk page, making the same arguments and the same personal attacks in the same broken English.[5][6]

CosmasIndi (talk · contribs) is also very obviously Fyodor, towing the same ideological line in the same broken English. This account, registered today, made some comments haranguing Djwilms about the Ahatallah article,[7] after I had requested an expert opinion from Djwilms per the discussion.[8]

Arunvroy (talk · contribs) also appears to be Fyodor. This account was registered back in 2008,[9] and hadn't made an edit in over two years.[10] Then, minutes after the Fyodor7 account and a number of the other socks had been blocked,[11] Arunvroy returned to Wikipedia with an uncanny knowledge of the dispute at the obscure Ahatallah article, leaving a comment in the same broken English and making the same claims as the socks.[12] He then left a comment on Thehelpfulone's talk page expressing dismay that the sock accounts were being blocked.[13]--Cúchullain t/c 18:22, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't realize it, but there is also an open SPI on Mathenkozhencherry that may tie User:Mathenkozhencherry to Fyodor7 as well.--Cúchullain t/c 19:13, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Added User:4747longstreet, a "new user" with a precocious knowledge of the obscure Ahatallah debate, and of Wikipedia jargon and the workings of sock puppet investigations.--Cúchullain t/c 12:09, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added User:SuperNasrani, seems obvious. Requested semi-protect to settle it down. wiooiw (talk) 07:59, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk endorsed I'm endorsing this because although this looks like WP:DUCK, the inclusion of an account that predates Fyodor by over two years this brings up the issue of whether or not the original CU sweep missed this one. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 01:47, 2 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed that the following accounts are operated by the same person (excuse the long list, some blocked accounts are included for completeness):

The following accounts are  Confirmed to be related to each other and  Likely to be related to the above accounts:

The following accounts edit from the same country as all other accounts (India) but appear to be in significantly different areas, and so seem Red X Unrelated to each other and all other accounts:

The following account appears to edit from an Indian mobile network and is therefore  Inconclusive:

Suspected sockpuppets [edit]

Evidence submitted by Cuchullain [edit]

125.22.97.34 is Fyodor7, or at least the IP is used by him, based on this, this, and this (where the IP edited the userpage of another confirmed Fyodor sock). The IP has been making various edits to pages Fyodor frequented since the other accounts were blocked, but these were largely innocuous until today, when they picked up the edit war at Ahatallah right where Fyodor left off.[14][15] Cúchullain t/c 13:26, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added 27.57.8.235 due to this.--Cúchullain t/c 15:04, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And I guess we can add religiously-based personal attacks and harassment to the list of disruptive behaviors.--Cúchullain t/c 13:50, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • The IP 125.22.97.34 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) demonstrates numerous behavioural similarities to Fyodor7, including shouting, ellipses, similar timezones and edit styles. I've blocked it for three months. 27.57.8.235 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) geolocates to a different area of India, and as such may be a meatpuppet, but we can't really be sure. I've blocked it for a week, but feel free to re-report if it becomes an issue. PeterSymonds (talk) 16:55, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation

The very reason why I made an edit is the cunning LIE which user User:Cuchullain made on the page of Ahatallah. Due to severe contentions between User:Cuchullain and several other users, an expert tag was put for the article. The expert tag can be removed only when User:Djwilms comes with better facts after his research. So far he has not made any findings on the talk page Talk:Ahatallah

Yesterday User:Cuchullain removed the expert tag, and commented, “An expert has weighed in” [[16]].

Can you check if their has been any comment from the User:Djwilms on Talk:Ahatallah after 07 July 2010. He has to further read and research till he can comment on the topic.

What was done by me is just put back the “expert’ tag. For which he made a comment just above that I made an edit war. This has been continuing for a long time. He is making small issues big and getting rid of all his opponents. Proof provided further

Bully attitude of User:Cuchullain against fellow users.

1. In this month alone somebody has called him a vandal, [[17]]. He is very adamant and doesn’t allow others an inch to put forward their points. Just check the article of Ahatallah alone to see if any editor was allowed to add anything more to the article.

2. He being a catholic hates other Christian groups. A well sourced article, about the “Orthodox church of the East” about which there is no article at present in Wikipedia was deleted by this particular editor, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Orthodox_Church_of_the_East&diff=prev&oldid=361264908%7Chere]].

3. Another one against him [[18]]

4. Just see hhis response to another editor YERSTERDAY, nonsense you dont get to decide consensus, [[19]]

It is utmost difficult to deal with this particular editor. He keeps following other editors and reverts the edits made by them. Forcing novice editors to create new ID’s unknowingly, without knowing the rules of wiki. He is always right and others are always wrong.

There are many more this particular user has done. What is the use of me bringing forth all these? I have restrained a lot. Now he has forced me to talk.

Then sheepishly he comes here makes, a very lengthy statement about sockpuppety and gets all his rivals ID’s disabled. Right now, just above, he made a comment, that I engaged in edit war. Is reverting his cunning edit of removing the expert tag an edit war???

IP Address 125.22.97.34

The IP is an organizational IP, and may be used by other editors. Last time when a sock puppet investigation was carried against me, it found User:TomasMichaelAir, and User:4747longstreet which are not my id’s but someone who used this IP. Also by going through the log, I can know that, other people are also using this IP to edit. I am not using the IP for any major edits.

Also, this is not even a sock puppet account. Since I have experience in editing wiki, I impulsively make minor changes, whenever and wherever I spot something. Please check the log to see, if any unconstructive edits are made?

By blocking me, [User:Cuchullian]]s purpose of having me out of Wikipedia is carried out and nothing else. I am sorry; I know this is not the place, to write all these. However I am compelled to because, it may affect others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.22.97.34 (talk) 02:43, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well it seems that the ip is admitting to be Fyodor7. I also don't see how you were not 4747longstreet. wiooiw (talk) 05:48, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
