Suspected sockpuppets[edit]


This is related to Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard#Michael_Zasloff and involves the biography Michael Zasloff and articles related to Zasloff's research, trodusquemine, squalamine, and magainin. Michael zasloff (talk · contribs) has acknowledged being the subject of the biography (diff), but he also appears to be simultaneously operating the Mzasloff account. The two zasloff accounts and Itsashaunparty have all been adding promotional content to these articles. Itsashaunparty and the new single-purpose account that appeared today, RPipiens, both appear to object to the state of these associated articles after the promotional content was removed. Since Itsashaunparty claims not to be Zasloff, just someone that was contacted by him (diff), there is a possibility that there are two sets of socks here: the Michael zasloff / Mzasloff pair and the Itsashaunparty / RPipiens pair. Based on the results, it looks like this page should be moved to a different title since Itsashaunparty is not one of the four socks. Michael zasloff is the oldest of the four. ChemNerd (talk) 16:42, 17 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
