The result of the discussion was: keep without prejudice against future harmonization proposals. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:33, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Only 2 articles in the category, one of which is essentially a stub describing the category. The other California Department of Rehabilitation is by no means centrally concerned with Vocational rehabilitation, which does not actually appear to be a distinct and separate field. Rathfelder (talk) 21:39, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I have managed to identify and add a number of pages to the category. There are now thirteen pages in it, and I think there is strong potential for growth.
BUT I would not object to a future category merge/rename, as long as the "vocational" part is preserved at least in part. I know nothing about the field, but there is strong overlap between Category:Vocational rehabilitation, Category:Vocational education, Occupational rehabilitation, and Category:Rehabilitation medicine. Someone should consider a way to harmonize/rationalize our category tree on this. Perhaps Category:Vocational and occupational rehabilitation? Neutralitytalk 02:24, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent idea. Vocational and occupational rehabilitation are clearly closely related.Rathfelder (talk) 14:58, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: procedural close. This may be reconsidered later after closure of the related CFD, which has now been relisted at 2015 June 2. – Fayenatic London 16:21, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: merge per WP:SMALLCAT, only one or two entries per category. Not part of a large established tree. Upmerge to History of Canada doesn't seem necessary, given the content of the Canadian category. Marcocapelle (talk) 20:42, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. – Fayenatic London 14:47, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Consistency with other portal categories (e.g. the other 26 categories under Category:United States portals by state or territory). DexDor (talk) 19:25, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Go For It @Kraxler: Unless this has been a controversial topic, adding an unparented category to it's logical parent is something you should feel free to do without a CFD discussion. RevelationDirect (talk) 11:20, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I may be a bit daft, but I don't know how to add it. Is it necessary to have special rights? I can't find an edit button for this purpose. Kraxler (talk) 15:37, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
With the hint given by Peterkingiron on my talk page, I've found out how to do it. Thanks. There's always a first time... Kraxler (talk) 17:34, 3 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
