Nominator's rationale: I can discern no meaningful difference between this category and Category:Sporting goods manufacturers. This category's description suggests that it should contain "companies or brands" whereas the other should contain "organisations", but that is not the case in practice. All members of this category also appear in either Category:Sporting goods manufacturers or one of its country-level subcategories, so nothing will be lost through deletion. Nominator's rationale: I am ambivalent about categorizing sporting goods manufacturers by sport due to the fact that many manufacture goods and equipment for multiple sports. However, for now, I am only proposing to rename this category to bring it in line with the naming conventions of its parents.     I think this would be non-defining. Are any sporting goods manufacturers defined by their production of balls as opposed to other types of sporting equipment/gear/products?
