Delete All, for sure. Holy %@#&! Do you have any idea what you've unearthed here, Rathfelder?? There are 100s if not 1000s of these Categories by millennium - most of which have only 2 subcategories. It's like one of those horror movies where there's a toe sticking out of the ground -- with a whole cemetery's worth of dead bodies buried a little deeper....
And many of those 1st millennium subcats are dubious at best. For example, have a look at Category:Shopping malls by millennium of establishment. (Yes, "Shopping malls".) A whole slew of ridiculous nested categories were created -- all for the single article about... wait for it... Trajan's Market -- apparently the first-ever "Shopping mall". Nominator's rationale: This is a true "Categories for discussion", as I don't advocate deletion. I was going to create Category:Japanese Magic: The Gathering players, since there's already a Category:American Magic: The Gathering players and enough people in the main category to support a Japanese category (probably some other nationalities too, though I haven't gotten that far). I hesitated when I saw a Japanese category had previously been deleted. The CfD only mentioned a German category, but I assume multiple categories were deleted (interestingly enough, not the American category).
I'm probably being overly cautious, given the age of the discussion. I'd like to proceed with further subcats for Category:Magic: The Gathering players. --BDD (talk) 17:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
