The result of the discussion was: speedy deleted per WP:CSD#G4. ƏXPLICIT 10:06, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: This is a WP:NONDEFINING characteristic that will encompass many of the biographies on Wikipedia. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:50, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: speedy delete, meanwhile the only article no longer exists. (non-admin closure) Marcocapelle (talk) 16:15, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: I believe that categorizing people by the elementary school they attended is considered overcategorization. Not only that, the one article currently in this category is up for speedy deletion as I write this. Metropolitan90 (talk) 20:32, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I put the article up for speedy and I was trying to figure out how to nominate the cat. The creator is playing around. We really don't need an article about someone named "Tony" who licked her hands in first grade, or a category for people who attended the same non-notable elementary school that she licked her hands in. Meters (talk) 20:42, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Once the one article in here gets speedied, just speedy the hell out of this one. Hog Farm Bacon 20:51, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete we don't categorize people by elementary school. Carlossuarez46 (talk) 00:21, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • DElete -- It would be a very exceptional junior school that needed an alumni category. Peterkingiron (talk) 14:28, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. bibliomaniac15 21:19, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Per longstanding consensus, we do not categorize radio or television stations by former network affiliations that they no longer still hold. A broadcast station can drop an old network affiliation and/or pick up a new one almost literally at will, meaning it can be associated with several different networks over the course of its history, and thus causing extreme category bloat as stations get categorized for former network after former network. We also don't categorize radio or television stations for former owners or dropped formats, but categorize them only for their current characteristics -- so by the same token, we shouldn't be categorizing them for former network affiliations either. Lists of the former affiliates are already present in both of the network articles, so no information will be lost -- but this type of information is more appropriately presented as a list than as a category, because broadcast stations are not permanently defined by what they aired 50 years ago. • Comment I see that the infobox template for television stations has a line for "former affiliations". Could someone please add that line to the infobox template for radio stations? Sowny (talk) 16:05, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: merge. bibliomaniac15 21:16, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Propose merging:
Nominator's rationale: We have only 67 by-year categories on video gaming. Splitting that set by century does not help navigation, because it just creates two sets of similar size. The existing by-decade categories (see Category:Video gaming by decade) are a more useful and more conventional division. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 06:30, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
[[Category:Years of the {{Century name from title year}} in video gaming|{{Title year}}]][[Category:Video gaming by year|{{Title year}}]].
Hope this helps. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 06:38, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
