  • Comment: Well, I had no idea that they are called "county roads" instead of "county routes". Most, if not every, state uses the same name for the county highways as they do for the state highways. For example, Florida calls their state highways "state roads" and their county highways "county roads"; while New Jersey and New York use "state routes" and "county routes".
