Nominator's rationale: We have Category:Pakistani films by language, Then why we need Cinema by language in Pakistan? "Cinema" and "Films" are two different things. Cinema is based on places. But Films have languages. For example, we have Category:Cinema of Bengal, but we don't have Category:Bengali Cinema. Mehedi Abedin 21:08, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, useful for navigation. Expanding on Oculi's comment it is certainly possible to have Category:Pashto-language films from elsewhere, e.g. Afghanistan, as When Pomegranates Howl for example. Nominator's rationale: No need to duplicate the word cricket, even if the main article is The Hundred (cricket). None of the other articles called The Hundred have any relation to cricket, so obviously anyone who's in Category:The Hundred cricketers is related to the cricket tournament.   • Keep -- The language which is mainly spoken in a film is surely a notable characteristic. I would not want to see films dubbed or subtitled in Bengali included, but if Bengali is the original language only Bengali speakers will understand it. I believe we have had similar discussions on Tamil and other Indian (or rather south Asian) languages. The lack of English-language siblings is to be expected as virtually the whole output of Hollywood is in English, so that the language is not an unusual characteristic.
