The result of the discussion was: merge to Category:Microsoft-related templates and Category:Computing graphical timeline templates. (non-admin closure) Clyde [trout needed] 02:02, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Not useful unless there is at least one more graphical timeline template for Microsoft Surface products. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:40, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom Mason (talk) 03:59, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support in principle but I guess it should be merged to its parent categories. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:03, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: soft delete/merge. Unopposed. Undeletion can be requested at WP:REFUND. (non-admin closure) Clyde [trout needed] 20:37, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Unlikely to grow. The Sunshine State Conference is now NCAA Division II. –Aidan721 (talk) 17:57, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

GLAM project members[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more categories. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the category's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was: rename as proposed. No prejudice against separate discussion on the other points. (non-admin closure) Clyde [trout needed] 20:41, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Use "participants" in these collaborations for consistency with WikiProjects, following Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2023 October 1#Category:WikiProject X members. For info, WP:GLAM = "galleries, libraries, archives and museums". The abbreviations remain somewhat cryptic but IMHO are necessary to avoid extremely long names for these collaborations, and are consistent with others in Wikipedians_by_Wikipedia_collaboration. – Fayenatic London 13:38, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: manual merge to Category:Fictional Greek people. (non-admin closure) HouseBlastertalk 12:26, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: manually merge, none of the three subcategories fits the description of this category. Two subcategories are by period instead of by descent and one is about Cypriot characters instead of about Greek characters. The latter should be purged. The result of the discussion was: delete. (non-admin closure) HouseBlastertalk 12:25, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: delete, none of the four articles in the subcategory is about a French character. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:25, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Redundant with it. JDDJS (talk to mesee what I've done) 03:20, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Merge. We don't need a completely redundant category like this. AHI-3000 (talk) 18:23, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
