  • Yeah, this is weird. I don't think there's anything about languages that have a distinct writing system that imbues those languages' literatures with any unifying characteristic. Just a kind of non-sensical category as far as I can tell, although I'd be glad to be proven wrong. Delete unless someone can explain this.
